Halifax Trip 06

Friday, August 11, 2006

The last full day of our trip we went south again to Mahone Bay and Lunenburg. The photos are from Mahone Bay.

This one is actually three shots stitched together:

We travelled north the next day (Aug. 8) to Musquodoboit Harbor--there's a railway museum there. We also went to the Memory Lane Heritage Village Museum in Lake Charlotte. We didn't get any decent pictures there, though. Very friendly people, though. Their website is located here. Kids will just want to play with the cats...

On Aug. 7 we went down to Peggy's Cove. This is a town--I'm not sure who Peggy is. The attraction is the rocky shore and lighthouse.

Today we took a cruise in the Haifax Harbour on Theodore Too.

Started a day late due to a flight cancellation. Lots of rain here today, but we found some cool stuff to do in town.
